Can you share who built your snow bike because I live in the mountains of Idaho and want to have one built ? Your bike looks great. I have been riding off road all my life and snowmobile in winter but have always wanted a snow bike. Can you make any comparison to snowmobile?

@Wranglerstar bummer. Well if possible it would be nice because I could just put in an order and if I don’t get it for a year and a half till next season it would be fine with me. I definitely want one and I certainly want the most tricked out best one I can possibly get built. Sometimes it’s necessary to be patient and wait for a good quality. I know I’m gonna get one so I might as well get on the list. Thank you.

How Much for Conversion ?... Only Good for Snow then have to Convert Back... I think a Dedicated SnowMobile is Better, Don't have to Covert Back and Forth...

Hey Wranglerstar I’m very interested in buying one of these beautiful machines may I ask how much you paid for it? Wanna see how much this will potentially set me back. Looking for pretty much the same set up as far as the KTM bike and the Yeti 129 but I think I’ll pass on the Rekluse clutch kit and all them fancy electronic Knick knacks that you got all over the bike 😂

The fastest way to destroy a damn fine dirt bike is to put a paddle on the rear and run it in the dunes. The second fastest way is to.....well, let’s just say you should have bought a sled.

Seeing how Cody is usually prepared for any situation, I would think having the kick starter as a backup on a winter machine would be a must. Future video a year or two from now: The first no start will follow with a kickstart retrofit video! Looking forward to seeing it run.

First thing you need is avalanche safety training, and ride with people that have taken at least avalanche 1. Always check snow pack conditions at NWAC, before going up, and have fun. Ps your gonna want a 800-850 mountain sled also, for the really deep days, 40 season's riding the cascades, and the sleds are still the most fun on deep days.

As someone who’s ridden sleds for 25+ years I would now like to buy a ninja (or other cheap alternative) and convert it. But honestly bang for your buck I bet you’d get better value out of an ‘05 rev or a ‘10 rev even I bet. Thx for the vid!!!

I highly recommend everyone wearing and learning to use an avalanche beacon and carry a shovel and probe. If you were riding out in the flat land of the great planes its not needed but avalanche is possible on a slope of 15 degrees.

Looks like it's ready to go! would def carry a small power pack for jumping the bike, get the leads ect (comes as a kit). Bigger battery is nice, but with no kickstart there is no back up. might look into a snowbike plastic skid plate after you ride in the deep pow. deflects snow away from feet and seals up the hole at front of eng you have right now. Shift lever tip depends on what kind of boot you use. I use a snowbike specific boot that is the same size as a motocross boot, so stock shifter works fine.

Have you taken a look at personal avalanche locator beacons? Definitely suggest one. I know I few people who were saved from having one! Especially if you are headed up to the mountains in avalanche pron areas.

Back in 1989 my cousin who owned a junk yard acquired about 5 Chrysler Sno-Runners still in crates and I traded him out of one. It was a lot of fun, certainly didn't have the HP of this beast but was exactly the same concept and you could fit it into the trunk of a car. They were built in about 1970.

The heated grips system is actually really inspired! What an interesting solution to that. I assume that traditional electirical element system wouldn't be hardy enough for the demands faced by the type of scenarios that would be in.

Cool machine! One concern...I don't know how much the rear track articulates, but that extra fuel bladder looks like it might get close to the exhaust if it swings up. How much can it move?

Definitely would run the bigger gas can on the track. The extra weight is not as noticeable as you would think. I run a 3.3 gallon mountain addiction can and don't notice it at all.
