Trailer wheels were just flexed because you were in the middle of a turn with a heavy load when you stopped. At least that's what it looked like to me. Hopefully nothing was damaged.

I have always learned to choke the around it’s self so it pulls tight and then tie a piece of towel in the middle so if the chain slips it will bind up in the towel and mitigate problems with a flying chain

Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” - Matthew 19:26 There is no situation too difficult for the Lord to walk us through. We have to keep taking the next step forward with him, trusting that he will carry us through. Don’t be discouraged by the failures of men. Be reminded that God is able to do great things even in the most impossible seeing .

I yelled at the screen. Nooooooo. Whats the correct answer? Use the backhoe front bucket to lift and pull the log off. This way the support pieces under the back of the trailer are still in operation. That backhoe would have pulled that log off easy as.

Top Marks...all around...! I've just discovered your channel, through the Granberg sawmill video; sorry, I'm a few years behind, (I've been kind of busy). The info you provide is phenomenal... I was raised on a ranch/farm, by folks who survived the Depression Era/WWII; they were extremely self-reliant and possessed an "inner toughness". What you present displays that same self-reliance and toughness; and though (because of my upbringing) I understand most of the things you present, I still learn from you... So, I thank you for the time and energy your family spend in producing these vids. But I must say, I love how you teach, both by your example and by your kind encouragement, something seldom seen these days. And I love your words at the end of this video, esp as the US goes through these difficult times; the polarisation, the anger, the frustration people feel as they experience a lack of control... I've spent two lifetimes (at least) in service to the US (in service to the world, for that matter), in extreme hostile environments (over 26 yrs in the Mid East alone), and I have learned that the world is always going through difficult times. This is indeed spiritual warfare. But, our Father has seen kingdoms, empires, countries, governments, come and go; yet, He has not fallen from His throne, and the world He created, has not stopped spinning...as that childhood song goes: "He's got the whole world in His hands..." May our Lord bless and keep you, make His face to shine upon you, be gracious unto you, lift-up His contenance unto you and give you peace...!

Unmentioned in this video, two people learned how a tandem axle trailer moves and flexes under load. The way those axles were is completely normal.
Make it trick shots

Trailer axle being bent is a result of the tandem axle being torqued while turning especially under load. That is normal your trailer ok!!

Much of your content I enjoy. All of it, really. And not many times do I take exception with it. But today, telling people they shouldn’t worry about tomorrow because there’s nothing they can do about it is not how the country came to be. In fact, it’s that very attitude that has sent the country into the death spiral it’s in. People are right to worry and perhaps guiding them to channeling that worry into action would be a better message. I’m sure you didn’t intend it to be as simple as it came across but it did come across that way. Worry isn’t necessarily bad. Worry without actions would be. Thank you for what you do. Be well.

Wranglerstar please be careful with using chains. You already know a chain is as good as it’s weakest link. But I had a buddy killed from a chain breaking. Trying to pull a truck out and when the chain broke it cut his leg off and he bled to death before they could get him to the hospital. Now there was a stat trooper standing next to him and if he didn’t have his vest on it would have killed him to. They said that chain hitting him was the same as getting shot with a 9mm Even with the police there my buddy still passed away. Use cables or nylon chokers allot less chance of getting hurt plus you can see damage to them and pitch them if they are damaged.

Sorry to say the chain you set up as a "Choker" Was not set up as a Choker.... You should have looped the chain around itself and latched it back on itself.. So it "Chokes" itself.... just they way we use to do it on the farm. And the chain had way to much chain to the tractor.

Hi Cody, I'm sure you probably already know this but if you don't, I'll tell you. An old farmer taught me this. When you want to choke a log with a chain, take the grab hook end and wrap it around the other end of chain that you looped around the log and hook it to itself. Then when you pull, it will actually sinch down on the log and make a choker. The end of the chain will have a loop at the end of it. I thought it was pretty smart of that old farmer. Wish he was still around.

Just a normal trailer "tire scrub" from two non-turning axels, so because of the fact they do not turn they have to flex under the load of the pivot point which is between the two tires. So in short its totally normal to see this on trailers.

You just had the wheels side loaded from your turn. Just straighten out the truck and all will be fine. With a heavy load, always try to end with a straight moment, pull past and back up straight if you have to. This is very common on RVs, but you should never leave them parked like this, always straighten them out like I said. If you drive would have been gravel or sand, they wouldn’t have been so pronounced.
Kevin F
Nothing wrong with your axles. This happens when you have a heavy load and are turning the trailer. Your pivot point is between the two axles. So on the side that you are turning toward, the tire on the front axle is being dragged toward the trailer and the tire on the rear axle is being drug away from the trailer. And the opposite is happening on the other side of the trailer. As soon as you start going straight again, your tires will straighten up.

Reminds me when I was in high school, I ran a forklift at a farm store. A guy came and bought 4 pallets of salt at about 4 tons. I loaded 2 and asked him when he was coming back for the other two. He called me a dumb kid and said put all 4 on his dinky trailer. I obliged. He had to bring another trailer back to pick his 1st one up with a broken axle and 3 flat tires. 😀

You alluded to this more than once, but just to reiterate - things will "work out" and things will be okay, but remember, this is an eternal promise and not, in all cases, a temporal one. God is in control and will not give us more temptation and evil than we can handle, but circumstances in this fallen world will bring trouble. Our joy is our hope in the eternal. If you had asked Paul as he sat in a dark Roman prison awaiting execution if things were working out for him, he would have probably said something like,, "Yes - for me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."

Wow, Jack looks so much like his mom! Way to go dad, keep him close and download all you can for him to carry that torch wisely when it’s his turn. I swore when getting married in 92 after being with the same girl for five years that I would do better than my dad. I say this because he walked out on us when I was six. My two boys have questioned me as they’ve grown into men as to why I’m always teaching them then standing back to watch how they do things. I’ve told them to try and imagine not having any guidance at all, how tough would it be then? I’m very proud of them because they’ve rewarded me ten fold by growing into fine young men that understand respect and family first. My oldest is going to be a dad next summer, my younger son is a veteran and my youngest or “my lil girl” is now a mom too giving me my first grandchild. She came up behind me as I was cuddling him in my recliner and said “I bet grampy can’t wait to get you out in the shop to teach you all about everything he knows.” Funny, I was thinking/day dreaming about that very thing lol. We only want what’s best for our kids and when we get it it’s so rewarding. I never look for it, I only want to know that they now know whatever it is and they’ll carry it forward to their own. God bless you and yours Cody. Thanks for taking us along. Did I mention how much Jack looks like Mrs W?! Just WOW Lol
