A string to measure the circumference and then divide in half for the holes is what I do, then measure from one end of the pipe to make both holes even spaced.

I could see us using this Alpha tent for going camping or in our backyard for our extra family and friends coming to visit us once we get through this COVID-19 experience. It would be fun just for fun outdoors or for cooking outside during the hot summers and keeping our homes cooler.

Nice. You have some amazing scenery there. Not much in the way of snow here in Ireland at the moment, nothing that's lasting anyway. I made a review of a stove that's manufactured in Norway, it's called the GStove. Have a look at my channel if you like. I won't post a link as I don't want to be spamming your channel.

That is so cool that you had mentioned the little Minam. I have also done some Elk hunting there! It’s crazy how one name or a place can just zap you back in time to those memories places and people and great times! I now realize now to me anyway it’s all about the time and memories! Many people get caught up in the material nice things in life. And are missing the biggest part because all that is just stuff that you can’t take with you! Thank you for the video takes me back! As I’m sure it does you too God bless.

Put a square layer of waterproof or oiled canvas between the flap and the roof and your problem is solved. Give about a 1/4" room around the edges so you don't get it tangled in the velcrow.

My stove like that, I ended up welding on an inside plate right over the flue. Kinda like what your guy did for the intake, but for the exhaust side. That way the flames can't just shoot straight up and out. Helps out with burning the extra smoke and getting more out of your wood. Plus, less smoke outside. Nothing fancy, just a bent sheet over the exhaust. \_/

Nice man. y0 from the Owyhees! Why not just cut the flue hole as an X cut? Then just slide your pipe through. Then when you remove the pipe the tent will kinda flap back to almost a closed structure. But right on, those tents are awesome.
