So this weekend HF is running a 10% off no exclusions coupon so $60 off. Sign up for their Inside Track for $30 for one year or $45 for 2 years and the coupon doubles to 20% so another $60 off. So essentially go the cheaper one year option and get $120-$30 for $90 off on the winch plus get some other benefits of that Inside Track for the next year. So if anyone is in the market this weekend is a good one to jump on it and get it for just a bit over $500.

How old are you? Dryers haven't had a pilot light in 50 years they use an ignitor now. I have been working on these machines for 30 years. I see a few things wrong in installation number one do not use rubber hoses get metal mush ones and the hoses leaning against the wall will rub into the wall when it spins. Another issue with the washer sitting on tile the feet will lose grip and the washer will be like it is one ice. If that happens wash the feet and take sandpaper to the bottom on the feet giving it grip again.

Why is it that I don't trust any of these new security camera's and door bell camera's and google box things, amazon talking things inside everyone's home? With out research I have a feeling there is a parent company behind all these products where all this information is being fed into ai and data is being collected to be used against us and I feel the people that actually have this stuff, it's easier for an agency to go after them for maybe influencing the publics mind against agenda's from the elites being pushed. It always seems the major corporations are behind a lot of this stuff but is advertised as some other company until you do research into it. This is just my thinking, could be completely wrong.

We rode out this little storm with ease here in Texas. We lost power, water, electricity, and ran out of propane early. The propane is used to heat, cook, and water heater, we were dead in the water. I had restocked a 1/4 cord more of wood. We had loads of food, filled tubs before hand, and had plenty of bottled water. It's pathetic hearing all of the botching locally, always pointing fingers and not taking responsibility for the possibilities. Some Texans are flat out soft! My son and I took the time to do some snowboarding on our road and enjoy the time off. They were inconveniences St worst for anyone with a brain.

It has been a lot of yrs at this point since I have used cutting kindling to build a fire. I use charcoal brickets. Just like the ones you Barbecue with. Place a few good handfuls in position up against a split banker log. Hit it with a little liquid fire (lighter fluid) and place your split logs in position around the pile of charcoal. Light it off. You have an instant coal bed & heat. This works so well and it eliminates the dangers of splitting kindling. I even take a sm container of 5 brickets & a tin of sig litter fluid with me fishing or into the woods. I have started fires a few times in the rain this way. You just have to keep it dry. And in a survival situation you replace your coal from leftovers from your burnt wood pieces. You should set a couple burnt pieces of wood aside to harvest coal from & they make your next fire supper easy to start. Anyway, I enjoyed the video.

Harbor Freight is damn near as good or better in a lot of cases compared to name brand. Major exceptions are battery tools because big name brands have some better battery tech, and super specialty stuff. For the most part though HF is cheaper by a wide enough margin you can toss the tool out and buy a new one compared to things like Snap On and such.

STOP THE PRESSES! BRAKING NEWS!! Wranglerstar is doing an unboxing of a winch. Note his use of a Benchmade Osborne knife. Many have expressed concerns. Spyderco was contacted, and remains silent on this. Stay tuned we will circle back with updates. This looks like top shelf Chynesium. The proof will be the use. In all fairness Harbor Freight has some decent quality items at affordable prices.

Been using this winch for some time. great winch. I even had a 43 foot cabin cruiser blow a hose off the engine and sink in florida. Used this winch to raise her up along with other things. It literally lifted a 10 ton boat high enough out of the water to fix the leak and dewater the boat with pumps. I was truly amazed at how well it did. Other than that it has pulled my dually 3500 out of messes lol. even sunk to the frame in mud with no issues when another 4x4 couldnt budge her.

Ths cut off switch is important to have in any wireless winch since it operates on a frequency that could also be used in other applications. This prevents your winch from running accidentally by someone using their key fob or garage door opener.

One of the biggest issues I always had when we lost power was we would lose our well pump and therefore have no water. We solved this by splicing a plug into the pump so it can easily be run with a generator.

You use a lot of stuff that requires the internet, but everyone else also uses the same internet in your house. You probably tested when others weren’t using the internet and watching your stream. I couldn't quite tell if you were saying that Warn winches didn't have wireless controllers (at about 18:00), but mine (Zeon 10-S Platinum) has wireless, and I believe several other models do as well. Your point still stands, though; $800 is a heck of a deal if it stands up to actual use. Looking forward to your putting it through its paces.

I am retired now, but I use to work as a field mechanic for Cat. I used several HF air tools. I used a HF muffler tool to clean the dirt out of the cutting edges nut pockets. They only cost $11 at the time, so I bought 2, just incase it broke. (It never did break, and I still have both) I would be out in the boondocks a lot of the time and alone. Nobody to borrow tools from. I was out with a fellow mechanic one time, and we were changing cutting edges on several scrapers. He had his $100+ Snap On tool and I had my HF. After using his hi dollar tool for about 10 minutes, it stopped working. I just gave him my spare and we continued on. A couple of weeks later we were out together again. Doing cutting edges again. (Not my favorite job) He gave me back my HF tool as Snap On had sent him his "replaced" one back. We started to work, and just like before, after 10 minutes his tool stopped working. He was PISSED!!! I threw him back my spare and we finished the job. high speedtold HaveRetired. If it failed, I would replace it with a higher quality tool. My HF 14" cut-off saw failed, and I then bought a DeWalt. My 4 1/2" grinder was also replaced because it fell off of my welding table and the handle broke off. I replaced it with a DeWalt. I have never broken a HF wrench. I did break a 15/16 deep socket once. I had a 4 foot cheater on the breaker bar, and I was jumping up and down on it. I weigh 250 pounds, so I will chalk that up as abuse. HOWEVER, HF did replace that socket.
